Guide to Completing Each Game in Solitaire IO

Solitaire IO has four main areas: tableau, foundation, stockpile, and waste pile. You mainly manipulate cards from the stockpile and move them to the foundation piles.

To complete a game, you need to organize the cards on the tableau properly so that you can move them in order from Ace to King into the four empty columns in the Foundation.

  • On the tableau, you must: Arrange cards in descending order (from highest to lowest).
  • Alternate between black and red suits when stacking cards.

For example, a red 7 can only be placed on a black 8. This alternating color rule is essential to open up hidden cards and create more moves.

If you run out of moves on the tableau, you can draw a hidden card from the stockpile. This may give you a new opportunity to continue arranging cards and moving them to the Foundation piles.

Your ultimate goal is to move all cards into the Foundation piles in the correct order:

Ace → 2 → 3 → … → Queen → King

Once all four Foundation columns are completed, you win the game. On this game site, you can also can find another fun card game called UNO Online.
