Reversi is a puzzle game where you place black and white checkers according to the rule: flip the enemy's checkers between two of your checkers. The winner is the one with the most checkers.

How to play

It's easy to play this new game, but it's challenging to gain victory because of its puzzles and gameplay. It's similar to Onet Connect Classic which tests the intelligence of online players.

Gameplay

In each game, you own a piece: black or white. Your task is to place the pieces on the board in order: 1 turn for you and 1 turn for your opponent. This gameplay is similar to SuperBattle 2 because you will compete with another player.

To place a piece, you need to meet a requirement of the game: to turn over at least one of your opponent's pieces.

To turn over your opponent's piece, you need two of your pieces. When you place two of your pieces on either side, the opponent's pieces between these two pieces are turned over.

With this rule, complete reversals can happen at any stage of the game. Therefore, before the game officially ends, there is no accurate prediction. It's the attraction of this Reversi game.

Playing Tips

  • Corners are powerful positions in Reversi. If you occupy a corner, you can secure that position for the entire game, making it difficult for your opponent to outflank you.
  • Anticipate your opponent’s moves. Consider how your placement will affect future turns, not just your current move.
  • When placing your checkers, be cautious not to give your opponent easy access to the corners.
  • Try to keep the checkers evenly distributed across the board. This makes it harder for your opponent to create advantageous positions.

More details

Reversi, also known as Othello, challenges players' strategic thinking and foresight. The game is played on an 8x8 board, where two players take turns placing their checkers - one player uses black checkers and the other uses white. The objective is to have the majority of your colored checkers on the board at the end of the game.

There is no time limitation for each turn and you can select modes. You can choose available modes with 1-Player or 2-Player sub-mode or custom modes with various grid boards.
