How to Play Dodgeball

Players need to control their character, move around, throw the ball at opponents, and dodge incoming throws. Depending on the battle mode, your goal may be to defeat the opponent, reduce their health bar, or score points by throwing the ball into the net. These are the rules of the three modes: 

Challenge

In Challenge mode, you will throw the ball at your opponent and dodge their throws. Both characters stand in a swimming pool area, so you need to aim carefully to make the ball hit the opponent.

The ball can bounce back if it hits the wall of the pool. This makes the match more unpredictable because the ball can change direction and return unexpectedly. If the ball hits the main character directly, the character will be defeated immediately.

However, if the ball touches your character’s hands, you can catch it and throw it again. So, pay attention to the timing when the ball flies toward you and use that chance to counterattack.

Venus

In Venus mode, another character will carry you on their back, and you will attack an opponent who is also being carried. The main goal is to reduce the opponent’s health bar until they lose. This mode requires you to dodge attacks while choosing the right moment to strike.

Match

In Match mode, your goal is to throw the ball into the opponent’s net to score points. Instead of only focusing on defeating the opponent, you need to watch the position of the net and choose a suitable throwing angle.

Game Control

Player 1

• Press the F key to throw the ball.
• Press the A/D keys to move left or right.

Player 2

• Press the K key to throw the ball.
• Use the left/right arrow keys to move left or right.

Some Features in Dodgeball

2 Modes

Dodgeball has 2 game modes: 1-player and 2-player.

In 1-player mode, your opponent is the computer. This is a good choice if you want to practice throwing, dodging, and getting familiar with each battle style.

In 2-player mode, you can invite another player to compete directly with you. This mode is great for playing with friends because the match becomes more fun and unpredictable.

Buy Glasses in the Shop

Every time you defeat an opponent, you will receive gems. You can use these gems to buy different glasses in the shop. Glasses not only make your character look more outstanding but also give the game a fresher feeling after many matches.
